Carol (Cactus) Skinner – Executive Director

Carol (Cactus) Skinner Carol began working at Camp Tulahead in 1981 as a fill in Counsellor for one week and loved it so much that she continued every summer after that taking on various roles such as Counsellor, Activity Director, First Aid, and Program Director. During the off season she worked towards her BA in Physical Education at Trinity Western University and graduated in 1984 where she accepted employment with TWU in the Phys Ed department and on the Coaching staff. In 1988 she accepted a year round position with Camp Tulahead as Executive Director. She has seen first hand the life-giving experience Camp Tulahead has been in so many lives and knows that it is a place where people can truly be themselves and meet God in a loving and accepting environment. She is thankful for the opportunity to be part of God’s ministry at Tulahead.

Brad (Maverick) Miller – Caretaker
Anita (Wrangler) Miller – Cook/Guest Services/Registrar

Brad and Anita began working at Camp Tulahead in June of 2009 taking on the roles of Caretaker, Cook and Guest Services. They have one son, Dustan, who is now a RCMP officer. Brad’s career as a paramedic allowed them to live in many areas of BC, and in 2005 Brad retired from paramedicine and they sold their sheep farm in Merritt to do a rural visitation ministry around the ranches of the Chilcotin. Brad also pastored a church in Williams Lake, before God called them to Tulahead. Brad’s family is from the Princeton area, and he spent his childhood adventures all through the area. Brad and Anita’s many outdoor interests include hunting, horses, and hiking. Anita enjoys painting as well. Brad and Anita are excited to serve at Tulahead and have met some amazing young people during their time here. By the grace of God, they have been learning more and more each day about working in a camp setting and look forward to serving Him and bringing Glory to His name in this opportunity that God has given them.
