Volunteers

Do you have a passion to see the Gospel shared with today’s youth? Do you want to make a difference in some child’s life? Do you desire to be a tool in God’s hand? If your answers are YES, but you don’t feel that you have to time to commit to a full summer of ministry, then consider joining us for a week or two in a volunteer capacity. We have various positions to suit your skills, and we are always in need of a helping hand…our ministry could not survive without the help of our volunteers!

Food Prep Crew:
You will assist the Head Cook and the Assistant Cook during one of the following 6 hour shifts:
7am – 1pm or 2pm – 8pm. This will give you the remainder of the day to be involved in the camp program. You must be at least 18 years old and have basic meal preparation experience.

Dish Crew:
You will be responsible for the set up and clean up of all camp meals. The number of hours you are in the kitchen varies depending on your speed and the amount of dishes to clean. It is our goal to limit your work time to 6-7 hours so that you have time to be involved in the camp program. You must be 15 years of age or older to be on the dish crew (August 23-28 only).

Speaker:
You are responsible for a morning staff devotion and a camper talk for chapel and campfire each day. You must have previous speaking experience and have a desire to challenge the campers and staff in the truth of the gospel.

Work Crew:
You will assist the caretaker in keeping the camp facilities and grounds in a clean and safe condition. You must be 15 years of age or older.

Support Staff:
This position has been specifically designed for alumni staff, who with their knowledge of the many different aspects of camp, are willing to lend a hand doing whatever needs to be done.
