Camp Tulahead

We have some suggestions to make your child’s week away from you extra special…

Prepare the postage: Parents always like to hear from their children while they are away at camp. Why not ask your child to help you pick out some note paper or a postcard and then address and stamp the cards together before your child leaves. Counsellors will love you for it!

Prepare for pictures: If you haven’t taken advantage of our photo offer this summer, (and even if you have) you may want to send a inexpensive or throw away camera with your child. Have it loaded and ready to go – and remember to label it with your childs name. At the end of every summer we have quite the collection of cameras that have no names on them.

Write a note/send a treat: Everyone loves receiving mail, especially when you’re away from home. Why not send a note or two to your child while they are at camp. You will need to send it at the beginning of the week or even a day or two before they leave to be sure it arrives on time! Send to: Box 1272, Princeton, BC V0X 1W0 OR to make sure it gets there on time, write it ahead of time and drop it off at the check in desk on the first day of camp.

Become a volunteer! You can spend the week with us while your child is a camper by volunteering. We offer a $25 discount off camper fees for all volunteer parents.

PRE-ORDERS

We also offer a few extras you can pre-order for you child. To order any of the items below, contact the camp office at tulahead@nethop.net, or call us at 250-295-6233.

Camp DVD: You can also help your child make lasting memories by purchasing a DVD made especially for their week of camp. Each DVD includes approximately 45 minutes of camper footage, plus all of the cabin skits from skit night, and a special introduction from all of the staff. Dvd’s are $20.

Camp Photos: You can also pre-order cabin photos and/or entire camp photos for only $3 each.

Camp Apparel: Hoodies and T-shirts are available for pre-order, or in limited amounts in the general store (pre-order guarantees size availability). Tshirts are $15, Hoodies, $38.

GENERAL STORE: There are lots of options for your son or daughter to spend their store money at the Tulahead General Store. Every summer we add new Tulahead merchandise, and of course there is always plenty of candy…!
