What Moms are saying about Tulahead

What did you observe your child learned at camp?

Responsibility….they came home and initiated a lot of “chores” or “lending a helping hand” without being asked.

How to feel comfortable with herself, and making new friendships.

She was much more confident afterwards and able to see that all her worrying had been unfounded.

Camaraderie

He always comes back with a greater sense of compassion

Cooperation, sharing, interest in others

The kids always return with a very positive attitude and appreciation for things.

Would you encourage your friends to send their children to Camp  Tulahead?

My boys invited a friend last year who also loved the camp.

It really all boils down to the staff at Tulahead. Staff can make or break the campers experience, and Tulahead has a reputation for choosing the best.

Definately. The positive behaviours of all the staff, the awesome activities, the location on the water is fabulous as the children get to experience water activities that they may not normally be able or want to experience. Encouragement by staff and the leaders are open to share about themselves.

It was a great experience and we would recommend the camp.

I see in the leaders and the adults that they are there because they want to be. So therefore the kids feel welcome. I feel my child is welcome there.

It’s just like camp is supposed to be:  fun, positive, friendly environment. Energetic leaders. Outdoor activities. No TV, no video games!
